Champlain College Work-Study

Work-study is part of some students' financial aid. Subsidized by the Federal government, the program helps non-profit businesses (including the College and area organizations) hire students by absorbing a large portion of the cost associated with their employment. The Financial Aid Office uses a formula based on income and need to determine eligibility. The current work-study wage is $8.00/hour or $8.50/hour for students who work off-campus.

The Career Services Office posts work-study jobs on the EASE job system that you can view at: http://ecampusrecruiter3.com/champlain/. Students are also welcome to drop by our office during office hours (M-F 8:30 am-5 pm) to do a job search here in our student workspace. Generally, employers don't advertise positions for the new school year until mid-August. Qualified students receive a work-study information packet several weeks before school starts.
